“Before I Go” by The Lost Patrol and “NYC Song” by Drew Smith’s Lonely Choir will both be played on the Monday, September 7, edition of Jack Rabid’s “The Big Takeover on BreakThru Radio” show, at noon EDT.

Both artists came to our attention by applying to be considered for an upcoming Rabid In The Kennel session.

Independently seeping into the ears of music aficionados, artists, producers, podcasters, bloggers, filmmakers and tastemakers, NYC-based The Lost Patrol (pictured below, top) has etched out a name for themselves with their distinctive blend of surf-tinged atmospheric twang.

Drew Smith’s Lonely Choir, the new release by Austin-based singer-songwriter Drew Smith, (pictured below, bottom) offers classic sounding songs kept honest with nostalgic considerations about American life. The new record (Viro Records) has cracked many critics’ Top 10 lists, including a celebrated #1 Austin Record of 2008 by Austin.com.
